To kick off its tenth year of educating girls, Serviam celebrated with over 120 supporters a wonderful evening of food, fellowship and the unveiling of a striking donor wall in recognition of its donors’ commitment to Inspiring Minds and Creating Futures. Over ten years ago, a group of dedicated community leaders had the audacity to believe that the larger community would be willing to provide for all children what they themselves provided for their own -- a quality education designed to prepare their children for high school, college and the workforce. The event was attended by founder Meg Kane-Smith, first president Anne Weber, and former principal Stacy Solomon, in addition to many suporters who have contributed over the past ten years. After a short program, guests were invited to tour the school to hear first hand from students and teachers about the great work they support.
The tours were a great idea and the students really sold the school! It was a lovely event and a great representation of what Serviam Girls Academy is all about.
