New SITE
Serviam Girls Academy found a new home!
In June 2009, SGA moved from its Browntown location (1012 Achorage Street) to the building that formerly housed Holy Spirit elemantary school in New Castle. The new space could accommodate the expansion of Serviam from 5th and 6th grades to 5th through 8th by fall 2010. SGA's decision to enter into a five year lease with Holy Spirit shows their commitment to leveraging existing community resources so that support for the school can be geared towards programs that directly affect the students’ education.
A special thanks to the volunteers who worked with SGA over the summer! The school would not have been ready to welcome its sutdents if the individuals from Bank of America, Sherwin Williams and Ursuline Academy had not volunteered their time!
