Volunteer At Serviam Girls Academy

Serviam Girls Academy’s success, fundamentally, rests in the strength of its partnerships with the community. Student education is enriched due to the active involvement of volunteer leaders who dedicate time and talent to provide new experiences to the girls. • Daily Breakfast and Lunch Coverage: 7:40-8:00 am and 11:45-12:45 pm during the school year
• Run a Parent Informational Session (preparing for high school/college, financial literacy, etc.)
• Organize a Parent/Student/School Fundraiser
• Assist in the Development Office

Fall Athletics (Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches)

• Volleyball (Competitive)
  Practice - Tuesdays/Thursdays 4-5:30pm
  Games are on the weekend

Winter Athletics (Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches)

• Basketball (Competitive)
  Practice - Tuesdays/Thursdays 4-5:30pm
  Games are on the weekend

Spring Athletics (Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches)

• Rugby (Flag/Two-hand touch)
  Practice – Tuesdays/Thursdays 4-5pm
  One tournament at the end of the season
  Training is available
• Softball (Non-competitive)
  Practice – Tuesdays/Thursdays 4-5pm
  Skill-building
• Track & Field
  Middle Distance, Throws, & Jumps
  Practice – Tuesdays/Thursdays at Ursuline Academy's Serviam Field
  Meets: Mostly on weekends

• Soccer (Competitive)
  Practice – Tuesdays/Thursdays 4-5pm
  A few games throughout the season on the weekends

Tutoring
Classroom help or one-on-one tutoring during the school day.
Assist with homework during study hour from 3-4pm to ensuring student stays focused and on task.

Program Assistants and Leaders
4:00pm to 5:00pm (Mondays or Wednesdays)

• Girl Scouts
  Assist our Girl Scout leader running weekly programs on Mondays.
• Financial Literacy Classes
  Lead program with a small group of students. Training available through Junior Achievement.
• Musical Instruments
  Lead weekly program on Wednesdays.
• Art
  Lead weekly program on Wednesdays.
• Robotics
  Assist or lead a robotics team.
• Any special talent/cultural program
  Lead your own program within your expertise (examples: sewing, cooking, poetry, etc.)
